- Competency 1: Knowledge of quantitative population ecology and communities to analyze marine and coastal ecosystems.
- Competency 2: Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques for the analysis of biological data and its application in the study and analysis of marine and coastal ecosystems.
- Competency 3: Knowledge of oceanographic processes that affect marine and coastal ecosystems.
- Competency 4. Ability to work in multidisciplinary groups.
- Attitudes: critical and self-critical, responsibility, tolerance to different ideas and cultures; willingness to teamwork, sensitivity to social problems and values of humility, honesty, solidarity, respect, and ethics.
