This Master’s pertains to the National Quality Graduate Program of the National Council for Science and Technology (CONACYT).
The Master’s in Environmental Sciences at the Universidad del Mar develops highly competitive specialists in the diagnosis, prevention and / or in the solving of environmental problems. The Master’s contains two areas of concentration: Environmental Engineering and Environmental Chemistry.

The graduate of the Master's studies will be able to:
- Develop basic research and / or applied, for the identification, prevention, management, control and / or remediation of pollution.
- Design, implement and evaluate research projects in various areas of environmental sciences, and communicate findings by specialized means.
- Participate in the implementation of environmental management tools that contribute to the promotion of sustainable development.
